Mid Valley Association of REALTORS The Local Branch of the National Association of Realtors and the Illinois Association of Realtors. Main Street, Kewanee, where it remains today.

Originally Henry County Board of Realtors, the name was changed in November 1967 to Mid Valley Board of Realtors and a new charter was issued by National Association of Real Estate Boards. Articles of incorporation under the Not For Profit Corporation Act were filed with the State of Illinois in October 1968. During this time, Board services were provided by the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce staff and regular meetings were held at various locations. In March 1980, the move was made to a permanent office location, 305 N. The Board of Directors and MLS Brokers began holding meetings at the new office on a regular basis, and continue to do so today. Over the years, many administrative and technical changes have occurred. The National Association of Real Estate Boards became the National Association of Realtors. In March 1990, the local organization changed its name to Mid Valley Association of Realtors. Originally Mid Valley was comprised of Realtors (those with a broker's license) and Realtor Associates (those with a salesman's license). In July 1999 members voted to become an all Realtor Board.
