This is from another post I saw and wanted to share to put community. Always be aware!

Soo just had this number +1 (574) 235-1283 and this number +1 (574) 931-8626 call me claiming to be the Nipsco gas supplier telling me they have been over charging me and want to offer me a discounted rate. The nonamerican accented speaking woman demanded I get my previous bill so that I can give her my account number to receive this discount. Told her it was in the garbage, again she says I’ll give a a minute to go find one and I tell her again if I kept every bill I received I would have a mountain of paperwork (was not telling her I have the app🤣). So then she transfers me to “Nipsco billing department” (sketchy) and I’m supposed to give them my account number, I remained quiet, the woman is obviously listening in and tells me I have to say my account #, after telling her if you are Nipsco you should already have my number and I am very uncomfortable just handing over that information, she said ok thank you and hung up on me. Hmmm sounds a little scammy to me!!

Just a friendly reminder as tomorrow is May 5…..if you haven't dropped off your rent, you are subject to late charges as of tomorrow morning. Letters will be going out.

I dont want to charge late fees…but we have to enforce this to stop it from happening.
