A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the E-Waste Drive and brought your old electronics to be responsibly recycled! We collected quite a bit, and while the rainy weather may have kept this yearโs turnout a little smaller than last year, Iโm still so grateful for every single person who made the trip out. โ๏ธ๐
Every TV, computer, cord, battery and electronic item that was dropped off is one less thing potentially ending up in a landfill โ and thatโs something worth celebrating!
Iโm excited to hear what the final collection total was and will be sure to share it once I know. ๐
A special shoutout to Lighthouse Christian Church for allowing us to use their parking lot again! I truly appreciate their generosity and support, and it has proven to be such a great location for this event. It was also great partnering with Redemption Recycling. They were incredibly organized and professional, and having the semis and forklift there made such a difference in keeping everything moving smoothly.
And a huge thank you to those who showed up to lend a helping hand with all the lifting and loading. Your help was so appreciated, and I truly couldnโt have done it without you! ๐
And if you missed it this time, donโt worry! Iโm already looking forward to hosting another E-Waste Drive in the spring. ๐ทโป๏ธ
