Posted • plans to transform Key Biscayne’s Silver Sands Beach Resort into a luxury, beachfront condominium, promising a striking addition to the island.
Terra is moving forward with the purchase of the 3.9-acre property at 301 Ocean Drive, contingent upon recent approvals by the Key Biscayne Council. The planned 14-story, 56-unit condo will replace the 56-key Silver Sands Beach Resort, offering upscale amenities like food and beverage spots, a spa, and a proposed beach bar.
Inspired by Miami’s Stiltsville, the design is a collaboration with architects Carlos and Jacqueline Touzet and landscape designer , with Terra committing $1.5 million for public improvements.
The $600 million project is projected to bring in $86 million in property tax revenue over the next 30 years, marking a rare addition to Key Biscayne’s limited new construction and joining nearby luxury condos like Oceana Key Biscayne and Key Colony.
