Today I’m outside Lewis Prime, one of the newest higher-end dining concepts to open in Wellington. Between Lewis Prime, Cooper’s Hawk, and several other restaurants and businesses entering the area, Wellington is clearly attracting a different level of investment and dining experience.
But what do locals actually think?

I’ve heard mixed opinions. Some are excited to finally have more upscale dining options closer to home, while others question whether Wellington needs this many higher-end concepts and whether the experience ultimately matches the price point.

And there’s another side to this conversation that doesn’t get talked about enough. As businesses continue to expand into Wellington, they also need experienced employees to support them. With the cost of living continuing to be a major concern across South Florida, attracting and retaining great local workers can become part of the challenge.

Wellington locals, what do you think? Have you tried Lewis Prime yet? Are you excited about the higher-end restaurants coming to the area, or do you think Wellington needs something different?

More investment could be coming to one of Palm Beach County’s most important equestrian facilities.
The Jim Brandon Equestrian Center at Okeeheelee Park is set to receive funding again, bringing new attention to a facility that plays an important role in our local equestrian community.
For an area where equestrian sports are such a major part of the culture and economy, continued investment in facilities like this can have an impact far beyond the arena, from local events and tourism to businesses and the surrounding community.
So what could this next round of funding mean for Jim Brandon and the future of equestrian sports in Palm Beach County?
And more importantly, do you think we should be investing more into our local equestrian facilities?
Let me know what you think below.

A major credit scoring change is coming to mortgages backed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and it could make a real difference for some homebuyers.

Following direction from the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are moving toward accepting VantageScore 4.0 as an approved credit scoring model for mortgages they purchase.
Why does this matter?

VantageScore 4.0 evaluates credit differently than the traditional FICO model. For some potential buyers, that difference could impact their credit score, their ability to qualify for a mortgage, and potentially the interest rate and loan terms they’re offered.

So if you’ve been sitting on the sidelines because you thought your credit was keeping you from buying, it may be time to talk with a qualified lender and see what your options look like.

This doesn’t mean FICO is disappearing. It means the way Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac evaluate credit eligibility is evolving, and that’s something every future homebuyer should have on their radar.

Is The Mall at Wellington Green officially making a comeback? 👀

This Labor Day weekend brings a new chapter for the The Mall at Wellington Green with Copper Blues Pub & Kitchen and Palm Beach Improv opening their doors and bringing live entertainment, comedy, food, drinks, and a completely new energy to this part of Wellington.

For years, we’ve watched malls across the country struggle to figure out what comes next. But Wellington may be taking a different approach. Instead of just shopping, we’re starting to see more restaurants, entertainment, experiences, and reasons to actually spend an evening here. And with even more changes being discussed throughout the mall property, this could just be the beginning.

The big question is whether these new concepts are enough to bring people back and turn the mall into a destination again. Wellington locals, what do you think? Is The Mall at Wellington Green making a comeback? Will you be checking out Copper Blues or Palm Beach Improv this weekend?
