Sometimes, going the extra mile means literally driving it.
This client had been put through the wringer and was denied after two long months with another lender (which I don’t typically work with but we had no choice). The same week he got that bad news, one of my trusted partners, REMN, rolled out the new option to use BUSINESS bank statements for their HELOC product, and I knew it was the perfect fit.
We got him approved for the full amount he needed in just one week, without paying off a single debt.
But this one took more than just paperwork; my client doesn’t speak English and needed guidance every step of the way. When it came time to close, his computer camera wouldn’t work for the online notary, and after two hours of troubleshooting with him on FaceTime and helping him e-sign all of his documents, he decided to drive two hours from Naples to meet me in person on a Saturday which I was more than willing to do.
So, there we were, sitting outside a gas station, laptop open, closing his loan together.
