American Caribbean, Christie's International Real Estate in the news: one of our listings was featured in Mansion Global this month.

Now on to where the Florida Keys market stood in August, area by area.

The common thread: more inventory, fewer closings. Four of five areas saw sales volume fall from July while new listings kept coming, pushing months of supply higher in Key Largo, Marathon and Key West. Tavernier was the exception — it tightened to 5.6 months of inventory.

Prices were mixed rather than broadly down. Islamorada's median sale price jumped on a small number of high-end closings, while Key Largo and Marathon softened.

Seeing the shelves already stocked makes it feel real, and I couldn’t be happier that our community is getting another grocery option.

More choices, affordable everyday kitchen staples, fresh produce, and quality groceries? That’s a win for everyone. Whether you shop at Publix, Winn-Dixie, ALDI, or somewhere else, having more options is always a good thing for our community.

And before the “I don’t like ALDI” comments roll in… let’s keep this one positive. 😊 If you’ve never been, or you’re not sure how it works, I’d be happy to share some of my favorite finds and shopping tips! Trust me… there are some hidden gems.

Now excuse me while I mentally prepare to fill my cart with cheese, fresh produce, and all the random aisle finds I absolutely didn’t know I needed. 😂🛒
