Perfectly located in the heart of Old Town, walking distance to the Historic Seaport and world-famous Duval Street, our 2 bed/2 bath condo is a perfect Key West getaway. Located on the 2nd floor of the Historic Wilhelmina Harvey Compound, this condo has 2 floors (plenty of space for everyone) and is nestled among the treetops and tranquil views from the large deck. A large living room with doors out to your private spacious deck to enjoy solitude or drinks and dinner with friends. Conveniences include a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, fast WiFi (perfect for a work-from-home situation). A shared classic "Key West" dipping pool completes the tropical living experience. Take a picturesque stroll just a few blocks to the famous Duval St., indulge in amazing restaurants and bars on Schooners Wharf, and come home to a relaxing and quiet William Street sanctuary. History of the home - This is not just your average condo or house or hotel room. Wilhelmina Celeste Goehring Harvey (1912 - 2005) was a philanthropist and the first female mayor of Monroe County, Florida. A "grand dame of Keys politics", she was frequently a public face of the Conch Republic. In April 1982, citizens of Key West formed the Conch Republic, a satirical micronation, in response to a Border Patrol checkpoint that disrupted travel and tourist activity. Harvey became Admiral and First Sea Lord of the Conch Republic's navy, whose actions included attacking a Coast Guard cutter with loaves of stale Cuban bread. We highly recommend one of the many tours of Key West, to learn more about the history of our 2 mile by 4 mile island. Key West is more than just bars and beaches! Guests will have access to the entire condo and the common areas of the home, to include a sundeck and small dipping pool. Free street parking. Other things to note

Essentials to include shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent. Please note: we provide enough essentials for your first few days of your stay. Restocking is the responsibility of the guest. Our condo sleeps 4 comfortably. We offer a pull out couch in the main living area for guests, but please note that it's not private as it's in the main living room. We recommend only having 4 guests to thoroughly enjoy the home. Pet fee: $300 Non-refundable payable directly to the host.
*** 28 night minimum *** By Key West City rental restrictions, rentals cannot be rented for less than 28 nights. Sorry, no exceptions. Trust me, you'll want to stay AT LEAST 28 nights. If not longer. And perhaps look to buy a place for yourself!
