I met at Toastmasters in the summer of 2022. She was our Area Director, lived/lives in Miami. We connected immediately (exhibit A).

She came to my TEDx Talk last summer. Last week she sent me an audio message that made me stop what I was doing and just listen.

A few weeks ago at Higgs Beach, I watched a seagull take off from the sand.
Right before its feet left the sand, the wings went faster, way faster than 5 seconds after take off.
Then it was up. Smooth.

If what you are starting right now feels harder than it should, it probably does. And it’s ok. That is just what liftoff and new levels cost. Just keep going.
