In addition I have been a continuous award winner since 1984 with progressive sales each year since that time. I have been awarded the Zonta Governor"s Cup in recognition of my service during my term as President in that office; as well as the Zonta"s Woman of the year, for which I am most proud. In addition to the above I have attemptedto return to my community my time and effort with the book fair for the raising of funds for the victims of Domestic Violence for which the money was used to establish a scholarship--there is nothing that gave me greater pride then having chaired that committee and from that I helped to create domestic violence video. The programs of scholarship funding have long held an interest in my activities in the community and I continued my work in this field in the mature woman scholarship at FKCC.My other functions in leadership roles has been as president of the Key West Zonta Club for which I have had earlier recognition. My other service in the capacity of leadership has been associated with the Council Board for Easter Seals, and past board member for the Montessori Children's and Elementary Schools. In conclusion, I would note that my family and their happiness is my primary goal in life. With the exceptional and kind assistance of my husband and daughter I have been able to venture into areas apart form the professional Real Estate duties that I have held for thirty six years, to the equally important efforts of giving back to my community that volunteer effort which I view as a privilege and not a task. Key West is and will remain a vital part of my life, as well as my family and community social work. My career is not apart from these elements, rather they have been for more than thee decades, a vital part of all the above: Family, social responsibility to serve the community and professional goals, which I sincerely believe must entail elements of all those roles in ones life. I strive to do that each day of my life and will continue to do so.
