Meet Matt Zintsmaster! You could say he wears a lot of hats around here—mostly because Wendy tells him which one to wear!

As Wendy’s husband and a behind-the-scenes member of our team, he helps with auditing, accounting support, and the occasional owner problem-solving mission. His favorite part of the job? Finding solutions and helping turn challenges into wins.

Originally from Angola, Indiana (Go Hoosiers!), he first visited Key West 34 years ago and eventually traded his corporate life in Chicago for island living. After packing up his Jeep and making the move, he spent his early Key West days living on a houseboat and embracing the adventures that come with island life.

One of the most special parts of being part of our team is getting to work alongside Wendy and their two daughters, who are also valued members of our team. When he’s not helping behind the scenes, you’ll find him collecting w**e 🍷, skiing out West ⛷️, or enjoying a local restaurant 🍽️ with Wendy and sharing local tips with visitors. After nearly three decades on the island, his favorite thing about Key West is simple: the people. Because here, where “the weird turn pro,” there’s always a good story waiting around the corner!

Meet Mackenzie Zintsmaster! Born and raised in Key West, she’s living the island dream, and helping our guests do the same.

After interning with Dwell in 2025, she officially joined the team full-time in 2026 and has been making vacations memorable ever since. When she’s not sharing local tips or welcoming guests, she’s probably vintage shopping 🛍️ , flowing through a yoga class 🧘🏼‍♀️, or enjoying the great outdoors 🌴.

Meet Dan Zintsmaster! With 3½ years on our team, Dan keeps things running smoothly as the General Manager of Dwell Key West and a Property Manager at Best Of Key West Rentals.

What he loves most about his role is the people—from working with an incredible team that knows how to work hard and play hard, to meeting guests from around the world who come to enjoy their own slice of paradise.

Originally from Northern Indiana, Dan made his way through Michigan before settling in South Florida 16 years ago. After college, he spent a couple of years living aboard a charter boat in the Caribbean, where he learned to deep-sea fish 🎣 and discovered his love for boats 🛥️ and life on the water.

When he’s not helping guests create unforgettable stays, you may find him out on the golf course ⛳️, enjoying live music, or exploring some of his favorite Key West spots like Salute, Louie’s Backyard, Onlywood, Tree Bar, Irish Kevin’s, and Sloppy Joe’s.

After getting married in Key West in 1998, Dan knows this island isn’t just a destination—it’s a lifestyle…where the fish are always biting, the music is always playing, and the ‘quick stop’ at the bar is rarely actually quick! 🍹

Meet Terri Overman! As our Director of Customer Engagement, Terri has been helping create memorable guest experiences since June 2021. Her secret ingredient? A positive attitude, a creative mindset, and a genuine passion for making every Key West stay a little brighter.

While she loves helping guests feel at home, her favorite title will always be “Tee” to her three amazing grandchildren. When she’s not spending time with them, you’ll find Terri getting lost in a good book 📖, cooking up something delicious 👩🏼‍🍳, or power walking through nature 🌿.

Before joining our team, Terri spent 15 years as a television writer and producer then followed her heart into education, where she worked with children with special needs. Today, she brings that same creativity, compassion, and storytelling magic to every guest experience—because around here, Terri loves to help write the happy endings!
