Today's market is still a challenge for most, as there is a lack of inventory of homes on the market.🔻
For sellers: This is great news! It means that you may have the opportunity of selecting a great offer from a multiple offer situation.
This requires an experienced agent on your side to correctly price your home and to help guide you through this process and make sure that you understand not only the prices being offered but the terms (sometimes more important) of the contract as well. It is also important to have a plan in place for where you will be going once your home does sell.
For buyers: Don't give up! The challenge you face due to the lack of inventory is that there are more buyers in this market than homes for sale. You may hear things like, "there were 6 offers on that house" and that may be true. However, remember that 2 offers on one house is one too many, as the seller can only choose one buyer.
So what does this mean for you?
Take a deep breath, tap into your patience, and put your best foot forward on that house that you can see yourself living in! With the right team on your side, you WILL get an offer accepted on the house that is meant for you.
