Some of you may recognize me, and some of you may know me, while others may be meeting me for the first time.

Originally from Queens, New York, I’ve spent more than 20 years helping people professionally in the medical field as a respiratory therapist and have been fortunate to build a life here on Maui with my wife and our two rescue dogs.

Real estate was a natural extension of what I’ve always enjoyed most; building relationships, educating others, and helping people navigate important decisions with confidence.

Everyone said the Maui market was dead… but the data says otherwise.👀

Buyer activity is picking up. Prices are adjusting, opportunity is quietly opening up across parts of Maui right now.

We’ve continued seeing this trend through April and into May:
✔️ More negotiating power
✔️ More inventory options

A lot of people interested in Maui real estate right now aren’t feeling rushed… they’re feeling cautious.

I’m seeing many buyers take a slower, more thoughtful approach in today’s Maui market.

Not necessarily because they’ve lost interest…

but because they’re trying to make sense of:

* pricing
* interest rates
* insurance costs
* condo expenses
* inventory
* and long-term value

The data reflects some of that shift.

New single-family listings on Maui are down 6.4% year-to-date compared to last year, while days on market has increased to 138.

What many buyers seem to be doing right now is studying the market more carefully before making decisions.

They’re comparing options.
Watching value closely.
Trying to feel more confident about timing and affordability.

At the same time, properly positioned properties are still generating activity.

This is why understanding the market beyond headlines and opinions matters so much right now.

The Maui market may not feel as fast as prior years, but informed decisions still matter just as much.
