I'm on Maui now. I come over here 3-4 times a year, at this point, spending a lot of my time deep cleaning and getting the place all spiffy for guests, who come from all over. Maui is open and recovering from storms and fires and whatever comes at us. We are resilient and strong and Maui comes back beautifully with whatever comes at her. Guests and visitors are welcome! Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to visit and try our little home away from home. This is my only property and I rent it out when I'm not here. Hale Kamaole, #252, my home away from home, is my favorite place to relax in paradise. When not spending time there, I rent it out. Just wanted to let everyone know my condo is good after the storms. I’ll be there for a month beginning mid April, but after that, it’s open to rent! Check us out at:

Maui has been hit hard. Thankfully, my Maui home is okay (I’m so grateful!) but I’m praying for those who got hit harder and have suffered great losses. I’m grateful my current guests are okay and can still see all the beauty of Maui, despite the storms. I hope the recovery and rebuilding go smoothly for those affected and that help comes soon. Attached are some shots I got in February before the storm.

My little condo on Maui is safe at this point. The fires in Kihei are further north and we’re south, near Wailea. So sad about the disaster in Lahaina with the loss of lives, homes and livelihoods. My thoughts are centered on all those suffering loss. I truly ache for you and your loved ones.

We’ve upgraded our condo with a new A/C split system! It’s amazing! Super quiet and clean and…cool! On top of that, way more efficient. I think those of you who visit will enjoy it, especially during the extra warm summer months. Right now it’s so nice and cool at night it’s not needed, with all the windows open and nice winds. Gone are the window units!
