Turnover day at an oceanfront condo has its own rhythm.

Kill Devil Hills has a few spots that stop you mid-step.
Avalon Fishing Pier at sunrise is one of them — most-photographed boardwalk in central OBX, and license-free fishing if that's your thing.
Outer Banks Brewing Station is a short drive for the evening, wind turbine spinning out front at the only wind-powered brewery on the East Coast.
Toes in the Sand puts you at the center of all of it.
