Our little beach cottage officially has a name…

Lil Sumpin’

Wright On now has a companion! Cute, a little quirky, and full of fun, our classic 1969 OBX cottage has all the modern upgrades while keeping the charm that made us fall in love with it.

From the lovely enclosed sunroom with full heat and air conditioning to the updated bathrooms, refreshed walls, and kitchen with all the modern amenities, there’s so much to enjoy. And those classic OBX wood floors bring it all together. It’s got personality, a playful retro feel, and plenty of room for new beach memories.

Now we need a sign, and we’d love your ideas! What colors, lettering, or design would you picture for Lil Sumpin’? We’re thinking retro beach vibes-share your inspiration in the comments!

Bedroom #2. We’re still adding finishing touches to this room (like bedside tables, lamps, and some art work), but we just had to preview this room with you. It’s so nice and cozy.

Still lots to do to the new bungalow, including adding some finishing touches to this room. But isn’t this a super cute and cozy bedroom with twin beds? We just had to share.

Our other two bedrooms have queen beds, with a half bath in one. Brand new mattresses in all the rooms (of course!).

Our 1969 beach bungalow is getting an upgrade that’s been 57 years in the making!

For the FIRST time ever, this little beach house is getting a dishwasher!

We’re having fun giving this bungalow some updates and getting it ready to share with others.

There’s still plenty of work happening behind the scenes, but we’re celebrating the little victories along the way!

Because vacation should include more beach time and less dishwashing.
