Grateful for the invitation to attend this wonderful event today hosted by Benchmark Mortgage and Nicky Tharpe's team!

Thank you, Chad Fleming, for sharing your story with us, you've lived quite the life! Thank you for the reminder of why we do what we do in this business, which is to serve others.

My key takeaways were these:

1. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what people's beliefs are, who they love or what color they are.
2. Surround yourself with people who are good and make you want to be better.
3. Don't focus on hatred for the enemy, instead focus on who and what you love.
4. Be intentional with your mindset.
5. Be humble enough to recognize the goodness in those around you, show them respect and be happy for their success.
6. You never know what's on the other side of your "yes".

Not oddly enough, these all align with what I've come to learn from the Word of God. Love God, love and serve people, guard your heart and your mind, and God will honor your trust and your obedience 🤍
