Spent some time socializing with other agents at the Northern Neck Association of Realtors Awards Ceremony last night at 1710 Tavern in Tappahannock. I am so grateful to all who have supported me on this real estate journey and honored to receive a top performer award from the association. 2025 marked my fifth full year in real estate, which means I was able to move into the “Diamond” rank for 5 years in a row of top performance.

I’m waiting to pull back onto Route 3 after getting gas in White Stone when the young man in the car behind me lays on his horn. “I can’t go, there’s cars coming in both directions.” I yell out to myself. Then he honked again. I’m thinking, “Dude, you must not live around here because we don’t treat people that way.” Then he jumped out of his car and approached mine and proceeds to screw the gas cap back on which apparently I had forgotten to do. I think maybe he does live around here. A huge shout out to this stranger for taking the time to be a good person. Kindness is free!

We saw some great homes during our Liz Moore property tour yesterday. Plus it was fun to spend time with the office agents and learn about their listings.

A perfect start to the day at the Irvington Farmer’s Market. I was on a mission for a gift which was unsuccessful but I did come home with some healthy herb plants. What a fun way to spend Saturday morning!

Our office collected and dropped off over a truckload of food for the pantry at White Stone Church of the Nazarene. We had fun working together on the project and are excited to be able to donate to an organization that provides so much support for this community we love!
