After stripping the grass off in a customer’s back yard for them to install a pool this is what we found. The ground is spongy. We actually stuck a shovel handle down into it about 3 feet and hit water.

Prepping a customer’s yard for their pool and things didn’t go as planned. As soon as we scraped the grass off, water started bubbling up out of the ground. The area was pumping so bad that we came close to sinking the 255 Cat. The ground is like jello so after discussing with the customer he ask us to just do what we could to smooth it out. Not ideal at all, but it happens.
