Eden Estates Pool Eden Estates Pool (The Eden Estates Recreational Club, Inc.) is a nonprofit member owned pool for its members and their guests.

The pool is open during the summer season.

And, we're back! Whoop, Whoop & Hip, Hip, Hooray!

It was late into the night when we got the message that the new pump is installed and operational!

This is the shiny, new pump. (Picture taken before it was completely hooked up. 😉)
Special thank you goes to Steve Holbrook of Holbrook Plumbing and Water Filtration for allowing us to use specialized tools and saving us a bit of money!

Now, what shall we name it?! Boy? Girl? What do you think?

The pool is open today for swimming at 1pm but it does close at 430 for the Eels Team Dinner as scheduled.

Thank you thank you to everyone who worked diligently to research, find, pick up (not wait 1-3 weeks), and replace the pump and plumbing!

Mr. Tim Carsola, one of our Maintenance Managers, was the Vice-President of the Eden Estates Recreational Club in the '80s. He recalls that in 1987 or '88, the pool tiles were replaced, the pool was resurfaced, and Paulie, the Pool Pump, started serving its members. It has been nearly 40 years since Paulie came to EERC, and it makes sense that he just couldn't serve anymore. 😅

On Saturday, Mr. Carsola, Mr. Taylor Courtney, and Mr. Curtis Butler rushed to Paulie's side and tried to revive it one last time, but as you can tell, Paulie has become a rust bucket (literally! 😂) and just couldn't do it anymore.

We are so glad that he lasted as long as he did!

Pool Closures: (updated 6/17)

June 17 4pm closure Eels Swim Meet
Swim lessons are scheduled for 6/19 -- pool opens at 1pm as usual.
June 20 6pm closure -- Private Party
June 28 pool opens at 12 after a private party.
June 29 4pm closure -- Eels Swim Meet
Swim lessons are scheduled for 7/3 -- pool opens at 1pm as usual.
Pool opens at 11am as usual on 7/4.
July 12 opens at 12pm -- Private Party
July 13 4pm closure -- Eels Swim Meet

Pool closure notification
Our maintenance staff has been working very diligently since this morning to address issues with the pool's pump, but it is beyond repair.

The pool is closed for the rest of the day and until Tuesday, at the earliest.

We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Sadly, opening weekend is turning out to be a chilly, stormy weekend. We will not meet the 140 rule for today or tomorrow, so we are going to have to delay the opening of the pool to Sunday when the outside temperature is in the 70s again.
