I wanted to share something that still makes me smile. I refinished the floors in my 1926 house, but there was a dark stain in the hallway that just would. not. come. out. So I stained a darker rectangle, added some stenciling, and made myself a rug. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Poor property management.

This Deck Railing. Our friends rent a home through a large company and their front porch was falling apart. The company clearly chose the lowest bidder for the job because this was the end result.
