One thing I will always suggest to my clients is to always get yourself a home inspection before you list. This will allow you to find out if your house is good to go from a deeper level. They can help you realize that maybe your galvanized pipes just simply gotta go or even that your front porch is going to collapse. Never think “I’ll let the new residents take care of this issue” and then just try to cover it up. It can all fall back on you in some states even if you no longer own the house. This isn’t expensive either, so please, reach out to your local home inspector or contact me and I’d be more than willing to provide contact information.
