❤️ A Final Chapter for Heart of the Pines — Trish’s Place ❤️

It’s time to officially close a very special little chapter in my life.

Heart of the Pines — Trish’s Place has been sold. 🌲❤️

This little place in the mountains was always more than just an Airbnb to me. It was a place filled with peace, memories, dreams, and a whole lot of heart.

And of course, there was the name — Trish’s Place. ❤️

Trish was such an incredible blessing in my life, and even after she left this earth, that blessing continued. What she left behind gave me opportunities I never expected, and now, as this chapter closes, her blessing is continuing to open doors for my future.

And I know Mama Trish is looking down, smiling big, knowing the path I’m taking is right in line with what we dreamed about while sitting on that deck with a glass of sweet tea. ❤️

There’s something incredibly special about knowing that a gift from someone who believed in me and my dreams so deeply is still helping make some of those dreams possible. I will forever be grateful to her for that. ❤️

To those who had the opportunity to stay at Heart of the Pines, thank you for choosing our little mountain getaway and for being a small part of its story.

This chapter may be closing, but the memories — and the blessing behind it — are coming with me.

Sometimes God simply lets us know it’s time to turn the page. I’m grateful for this chapter, incredibly thankful for the woman who made it possible, and excited to see what He has written in the next one.

There are days when you just need to trade triple digits for tall pines… and today is one of those days. 🌲💚

I ran up to Heart of the Pines for a quick cleaning, and what a difference! It was 100° when I left town, but it’s a refreshing 87° up here in the mountains. Add in a gentle breeze rustling through the pines, and it’s about as close to perfect as you can get.

The air is fresh, the views are peaceful, and for just a little while, the stress of the day seems to disappear. Oh, and let’s not forget about the soft chirping of the birds … and the two squirrels 🐿️ that are running up the tall pines just off the deck! 🌲

If you’re dreaming of a mountain getaway where mornings start with birds singing, afternoons are spent on the deck with a cool drink, and evenings end under the stars, we’d love to welcome you.

Come cool off, slow down, and enjoy a little slice of mountain heaven. 🏔️🦌✨

A sweet friend captured these precious photos just a stone’s throw from Heart of the Pines, and I couldn’t resist sharing them with all of you.

Just look at those adorable little elk calves! ❤️ One of the greatest joys of spending time in the Hualapai Mountains is that you never know what beautiful wildlife you’ll encounter. From deer and elk to wild burros, eagles, and countless birds, nature has a way of making every visit unforgettable.

These little ones are a gentle reminder that life moves at a different pace in the mountains… a little quieter, a little slower, and a whole lot more peaceful.

Who knows? Your morning coffee on the deck at Heart of the Pines might come with a front-row seat to moments just like these.

My heart has been so full seeing so many new faces joining our page this week! Whether a friend invited you, someone shared our page, or you simply happened to find us… we’re so happy you’re here!

Heart of the Pines is our cozy mountain getaway tucked away in the beautiful Hualapai Mountains of Kingman, Arizona—a place where mornings begin with coffee on the deck, evenings end under a blanket of stars, and it’s not uncommon to see deer and elk wandering right through the yard. It’s the perfect place to unplug, slow down, and make memories with the people you love.

Just taking a little break after putting the finishing touches on the downstairs basement before heading home. ❤️

Now we’re sitting out on the deck, listening to the quiet, watching the fire dance, and soaking in the stars above the pines.

There are moments in life that remind you to slow down… to breathe… and simply be thankful.

We never imagined we’d have the privilege of caring for such a beautiful place, and we’re grateful every single time we come up here.

God is so good. ❤️🏔️✨

It’s heating up again down here ☀️🔥 and Mother Nature says summer is officially here for the next 6 months 😂

Don’t worry though… it’s always 10+ degrees cooler up at Heart of the Pines 🌲🏔️ Crisp mountain air, tall pines, peaceful mornings, and cool evenings around the fire pit just hit different.

• Bedroom 2: Queen bed (sleeps 2)

Two Bathrooms | Upstairs features a standard tub/shower combo
• Master Bath features a handicap accessible walk in tub/shower combo, a deep soaking tub, both of which have added stability bars and a handicap friendly raised toilet seat with stability bars nearby.
