Some choices can seriously hurt your resale value. If selling is even a remote possibility, these are five things I’d avoid:

➡️ Over-personalizing with bold paint colors or highly specific design choices
➡️ Ignoring basic maintenance (buyers always notice)
➡️ Removing closets or storage to “open up” space
➡️ DIY projects that aren’t done professionally or correctly
➡️ Letting curb appeal slide (first impressions matter more than you think)
