We’ve spent a lot of time this weekend cleaning and building furniture with Travis Helton! We appreciate our friends SO much and do not take for granted that every friend who has chosen to swing a hammer, pull siding, haul trash, hold doors for months and months….etc…. You all have a special place in our hearts and we want you to have a front row seat to a celebration party…coming soon. Then you can see the full picture of all of it!

I spend a good bit of time cleaning up to try as much as I can to:

1: Save Money
2: Save time
3: Hope that the guys appreciate coming back to a cleanish space after their weekend!

I’d much rather the contractor spend their time doing skilled labor and making progress than cleaning. So on the weekends we try when we can to clean up for them! I personally think it makes a big difference. What do you think?! TriCon Builders, LLC

I have never been so excited about electrical meter boxes in my entire life! Getting permanent power for this project has probably been one of the most difficult things to do! Hoping in 2 weeks to have real power! How amazing would that be?! Just think this entire project has been done in the freezing cold, the tropical storm weather, the extreme heat with no AC or heat! Only string lights and extension cords! I know everyone involved can’t wait for a climate controlled building!!!!

Why are these renovations SO expensive?! Well let’s just start with all the things you don’t see! There are all kinds of spaghetti of conduit, sewer pipes, drain pipes, etc…. All brand new because just about any old pipe was an old crumbling unusable clay pipe! The digging, the backfilling to then dig again for the next utility all takes time, machinery and lots of manpower. This is just one example of all the work that gets put in to restoring these old buildings in very tight spaces! Crossing fingers we have permanent power, sewer and water by the end of the month!!!

The tile is beautiful….the wax strips to protect the tile not so much! It’s looking so good! Travis Helton and Peaceful Peak….your skills are amazing.
