SDK Green Acres Homes, LLC., a premier apartment community located in Kingston, PA is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine grounds and building maintenance, as well as fulfilling all repair service requests for residents and apartments make-ready orders. Embracing the SDK philosophy, you will exhibit excellent customer service skills; treating our residents with dignity, respect, and a desire to provide the highest standard of quality and comfort in their homes.
Responsibilities:
• Grounds maintenance, snow removal, trash removal and cleaning
• Institute and manage resident service requests and work orders, correcting the situation within 24 hours when possible
• Assess and repair issues including electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting, minor tile work, carpentry.
• Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.

Qualifications:
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in building maintenance
• Must be able to perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, dry-wall repair, and snow removal
• Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, apartment make-ready status, and work in progress items
• Must be available to handle on-call emergency services on an as-needed basis
• Must have reliable transportation

Good morning and Happy Thursday. I missed my opportunity on Tuesday to share that I have officially been here 3 months! As a resident for almost 2 years, it is exciting and extremely eye opening to have the chance to see things from the inside, especially since I started the very week that the pandemic did. My experience so far has been non traditional in every aspect of the term and I just want to say that as I get to know you all, I truly appreciate your patience and understanding as I learn the ins and outs of SDK Green Acres policies, procedures and now all of our NEW P&P's during this extraordinary time. Can you imagine being a resident here for years and wake up one day to go into the office? It is the biggest ride at the amusement park, with no seatbelts, for sure.
