Thinking about buying a home in 2027? Good news…
You don’t need to have anything figured out yet.
Right now, your only job is to start paying attention.
Wander through an open house on a Saturday just to see what’s out there. Drive through a neighborhood you’re curious about at 6pm on a weeknight, when you’d be coming home from work. Peek at what homes near you list for, then check back to see what they sold for. There’s usually a gap, and that gap tells you a lot.
Somewhere in there, talk to an agent. Not because you’re ready, but because a 20-minute conversation now beats a scramble later. And if you’d be selling your current home first, that’s the conversation where the two pieces start to fit together.
The buyers who feel most confident in the spring are usually the ones who started paying attention in the fall.
So if buying a home keeps coming up at your dinner table, come talk to me before it needs to be a plan.
