I attended my first retirement ceremony for a military service member today. Chris Cass was  honored by his friends, family, fellow, Coast Guard members, the governor and the president (last two were with signed letters of thanks for service to our country).

Thanks for 30 years of service!!

Had fun helping them buy a house in Burien in 2021 (both Rosie and Harley gotta romp in their huge yard).

A lot of hard work to get this sold sign up for my friend's new, adorable West Seattle house (we beat out two others)! With a bunch of tree trimming by Steve Boyle, she's got a water view from kitchen, dining, & upper level. Between me & helper we got in 2 days of painting prior to hardwood refinishing, cleaning of crawl space, electrician (Fri & Sat), carpenter next week for 1 day or so. Sunday is the big move.
My job does not end when I give a new home buyer the keys!

Good news for home buyers - rates STILL DIPPING DOWNWARD

Mortgage interest rates trended downward for the third consecutive week, according to Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey (PMMS) for the week ending February 21. Freddie analysts cite the latest numbers as positive indicators, saying, "Wages are growing on par with home prices for the first time in years, and with more inventory available, spring home sales should help the market begin to recover from the malaise of the last few months."

Location, location, location is now ever more important in your real estate decisions. It took me 75 minutes to go 15 miles from NW Seattle (my Ballard neighborhood) to a listing I sold last week in SE Seattle (Seward Park). The house sold in 2 days for $25,000 over the asking price. Seller, Sharon, was ecstatic (as was I)!
