Concrete cracks. Builders actually “build” cracks into a basement floor in order to control cracking, so if you see a fairly straight line crack, the builder probably put it there. Ifcracks are small hairline cracks, that’s part of the life of concrete. But when a crack is 1/2 in or more, if the floor isn’t at the same height on both sides, if water is seeping in, you need to talk to a foundation expert.
