👋 COVE ARM: AUTOMATIC WAVE SYNDROME

Nobody tells you that you have to wave at everyone when you live at Cypress Cove. It just happens.

The community is so friendly that before long, you’re waving at every car, every golf cart and every person walking down the street. You wave at friends, neighbors, people you’ve never met, the Amazon driver, the UPS truck and occasionally a confused visitor who is only trying to find the exit.

Eventually, the waving becomes completely automatic. This condition is known as Cove Arm.

The symptoms usually appear when you leave Cypress Cove and venture back into the outside world.

You find yourself driving through Kissimmee waving at complete strangers.

Your passenger asks, “Who was that?”

You answer, “I have absolutely no idea.”

The stranger cautiously waves back, then spends the next five minutes trying to figure out where they know you from. Some check their mirrors. Others look down to see if you’re warning them that their gas cap is open.

There is no known cure for Cove Arm. Some residents have tried sitting on their waving hand, but this can make turning difficult and is not recommended.

Fortunately, the condition is harmless. It may even make the outside world a little friendlier—one confused motorist at a time.

The only proven treatment is to return to Cypress Cove, where waving at everybody seems perfectly normal again. 👋😂

Over the past four years, we’ve handed out thousands of koozies, an uncountable number of stickers, hosted Open House Poker Runs and Easter Bunny Chases, poured gallons of snow-cone syrup—and dreamed up far too many promotions to mention!

Honestly, we’re still not sure where all those koozies went. 😂

🏡 A Bittersweet Goodbye at 2930 Sun Cove Drive

Our longtime neighbors and dear friends, Chuck and Suzanne, have sold their beautiful home and are beginning a new chapter away from Cypress Cove.

It is never easy saying goodbye to people who have been such a special part of our community. Chuck and Suzanne, you will truly be missed, and we wish you both nothing but happiness and many wonderful adventures ahead. Please don’t be strangers!

We are also excited for the new owners, who are already part of our Cypress Cove family and will now be calling 2930 Sun Cove Drive home. Congratulations on your beautiful new place!
