A lot of people ask me…
“Should I wait for rates to drop?”

Here’s some perspective 👇

🔹 In the 1990s, mortgage rates were around 10% 😳
But homes were much cheaper.

🔹 In 2020–2021, rates dropped below 3% 🔥
That created bidding wars and skyrocketing home prices.

🔹 Today, rates are around 6–7%
Higher than recent years, BUT still lower than historical highs.

Here’s the reality:
👉 Buyers marry the house, not the rate.
👉 Rates can change.
👉 Equity and opportunity matter long term.

📊 Example on a $400,000 loan:
• 3% rate = about $1,686/month
• 7% rate = about $2,661/month

That’s why rates matter so much in the market.

But here’s what many people forget:
When rates DROP… competition usually GOES UP.
More buyers enter the market and prices often rise again.
