Reminder - Check your external air condenser unit and ensure its level.
Many of the units I encounter are uneven, which affects the efficiency and longevity of the system.
The AC condenser unit is designed such that oil and refrigerant travel through the internal components in timely manner.
When the condenser unit is uneven this can impact the flow of oil - causing friction and the system to work harder.
This ultimately leads to high energy costs and premature repairs.
In my experience, the biggest cause of uneven units is water discharging from down spouts and eaves, too close to the units cement foundation.
When this occurs, the force of the water flow erodes the ground supporting the AC condenser resulting in uneven units.
