We love Florida😅🩷
You ever notice how every Florida road trip has that one moment where everything just… changes?
You’re cruising along, windows down, palm trees swaying, feeling good, minding your business… and then suddenly your GPS says something that makes your soul pause.
“Continue straight.”
The sky gets a little darker.
The traffic gets a little weirder.
And deep down, something whispers… “You’re getting too close to I-4.”
That’s right.
You’re approaching Florida’s final boss.
Look, Florida has its issues. We’ve got humidity that feels like a wet handshake from the air itself, rainstorms that appear out of nowhere like jump scares, and drivers who treat speed limits like polite suggestions. But at least there’s a rhythm to it. At least there’s some kind of chaotic balance.
I-4?
I-4 feels like someone designed a highway using vibes and a dartboard.
Every time a Floridian merges onto I-4, something inside them changes. Your patience drops. Your GPS starts sounding unsure of itself. Even your car is like, “We don’t have to do this.”
And the traffic? IMMEDIATELY aggressive.
Brake lights for no reason.
Lanes disappearing like magic tricks.
Someone doing 95 next to someone doing 52 like they’re both completely correct.
It’s not just a highway.
It’s an experience.
Ask anyone in Florida and they’ll tell you: I-4 isn’t where you drive… it’s where you survive.
The funny part? It connects some of the most popular places in the state, like it’s helping you… but really it’s just testing you on the way there.
Because every Florida trip has a villain.
And it’s not the gators.
It’s not the storms.
It’s not even the heat.
It’s I-4.
A chaotic, unpredictable, aggressively stressful stretch of asphalt that reminds you real quick… you are not in control.
So if your GPS ever starts guiding you that direction… take a second. Breathe. Reconsider. Maybe even reroute your entire life.
Stay safe out there.
Stay alert.
And most importantly… avoid I-4 if you value your sanity. 🚧🔥
