Committed to Excellence – The Heart Behind The Warhorse
The Warhorse isn’t just another vacation rental.
It’s personal.
We didn’t build The Warhorse to become just another Airbnb.
We built it because our family knows disability. We know caregiving. We know what it feels like to search for a place where a wheelchair isn’t an obstacle and accessibility isn’t just a marketing word… only to come up empty-handed.
We know what it’s like to constantly have to “make the most of a bad situation.”
So we decided to build something different.
Every accessible reservation represents far more than a vacation.
It represents months of planning, trust, courage, and hope.
Sometimes it’s the first trip a family has been able to take in years.
Sometimes it’s a celebration.
Sometimes it’s simply a chance for a caregiver to exhale.
We never lose sight of that responsibility.
That’s why we invested countless hours—and significant personal resources—to create a truly accessible home where families can focus less on logistics and more on simply enjoying their time together.
Creating a space where guests using wheelchairs can travel comfortably—without sacrificing fun, comfort, dignity, or family connection—was the entire vision behind The Warhorse.
Every wide doorway.
Every threshold ramp.
The accessible bathroom.
The adjustable beds.
The wheelchair-accessible dining table.
The pool lift.
The Hoyer lifts.
None of those features happened by accident.
They exist because we understand how much planning, trust, and courage can go into traveling with a power wheelchair. We know that when accessibility is done right, caregivers can finally stop worrying about every little detail and simply enjoy being together.
Reading the reviews and knowing the space has allowed families to relax, reconnect, and make memories is exactly why The Warhorse exists.
Being responsive and attentive to every detail is just as important to us because we know vacations—especially family vacations—should feel relaxing and stress-free from start to finish.
That’s why our management team responds immediately.
That’s why our cleaners don’t simply clean—they focus on the details and prepare the home as if they were welcoming their own family.
That’s why we inspect, communicate, document, and constantly look for ways to improve.
Today hurts.
It hurts because there are times when it feels as though small hosts like us can become vulnerable to complaint and refund processes that leave them feeling powerless, even when they’re committed to doing the right thing.
Every legitimate concern deserves to be addressed.
We have always believed that.
We always will.
Small hosts don’t have billion-dollar balance sheets.
We have mortgages.
We have cleaners.
We have maintenance teams.
Most importantly, we have people who genuinely care about every guest who walks through our doors.
I’m incredibly grateful for the team behind The Warhorse. They care about this home as deeply as we do, and they work tirelessly to deliver the standard our guests deserve.
Their professionalism, integrity, and commitment are the reason we’ve earned the trust of so many families.
They are the magic behind The Warhorse.
To every family who has trusted us with your vacation…
Thank you.
To every caregiver who has told us they were finally able to relax…
Thank you.
To every guest who has shared that the wide doorways, threshold ramps, accessible bathroom, adjustable beds, wheelchair-accessible table, pool lift, and thoughtful design allowed your loved one to travel comfortably and your family to focus less on logistics and more on making memories…
Thank you.
Your words remind us that accessibility is about so much more than ramps and equipment.
It’s about inclusion.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about independence.
It’s about creating a place where everyone—regardless of ability—can truly enjoy a vacation together.
Those stories mean more to us than any rating ever could.
Because that’s why The Warhorse exists.
Our standards aren’t driven by ratings.
They’re driven by our mission.
And that mission will never change.
Let the good times roll. ♿❤️
