Never use plastic fittings on a shower head. Verify your contractor uses brass or copper. The stress from a handheld hose can cause failure. There wasn't one here but, Never Ever hang a shower cady for soaps and shampoos either.

Very nice and expensive shower enclosure. Unfortunately, the drain was set incorrect allowing water to enter the wall cavity. The liner did its job in preventing the water from traveling to other rooms. Water and mold damage were contained to only the shower stall. Although it may seem minimal, a person in this family is very sensitive to mold and could not enter this bathroom without suffering an allergic reaction. Rebuild by CVP coming soon.

When the insurance adjuster says its only a small section of mold and then we open the walls. I often tell my clients it's far worse inside the walls than you can see on the surface. This was only supposed to be 20 sq feet of mold impacted drywall. We removed close to 10x that amount. Remediation and restoration by CVP!
