My father gave me a couple of photos from his late mother ( my grandma is the little girl in the middle). As someone who wants to leave a legacy for my family, it’s intriguing to learn about our background their history and struggles in Costa Rica during the 1930s so I don’t repeat the mistakes they once made. The scripture that comes to mind is Deuteronomy 32:7: ‘Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past. Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you.
