Tomorrow is the day and I sure do hope we see you there. There's gonna be lots of color lots of goodies, and it's gonna be a whole lot of fun!

Tomorrow is the day!!!! While registration is closed, you can still show up at Steen Sports park at 9am to register for the KCAR Color Run 2026 - if not pre-registered, tee sizes are not guaranteed, but we are stocked with lots of extra! Only $25 - we can accept cash or Venmo! We hope to see you for fun, color, snacks, swag & raising funds for the Klamath Animal Shelter!

ONE PROPERTY. TWO OWNERSHIP RECORDS

Here’s a situation that can easily get overlooked:

You own property with another person with rights of survivorship, and there is also a manufactured home on the property that is titled separately as personal property.

Then one of the owners passes away.

You record the death certificate for the real property, and the deceased owner’s interest in the land can be removed from the real property ownership records based on the survivorship.

But what about the manufactured home?

That’s the part people sometimes miss.

If the manufactured home is still titled separately as personal property, recording the death certificate in the county real property records does not automatically update the manufactured home ownership record.

The manufactured home has its own ownership record with the State of Oregon, and a separate ownership change process may need to be completed to remove the deceased owner.

So even though the land and manufactured home sit together, they may require two completely different steps after an owner passes away.

This is why checking BOTH the real property ownership and the manufactured home ownership record is so important.
