Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—a man who stood for justice, equality, peace, and the dignity of every human life.

He reminded us that real change comes through courage, nonviolence, and steadfast love—not just words, but action. He called us to confront injustice, to protect the vulnerable, and to keep building a world where everyone has the same opportunities to live safely, freely, and with respect.

To follow his legacy, we can:
• Choose empathy over judgment
• Speak up when something is wrong
• Listen to voices we don’t hear enough
• Show up for others through consistent acts of service and kindness
• Teach the next generation compassion and fairness
• Keep showing up—even when it’s uncomfortable

May we honor him not only with remembrance, but with responsibility✌🏼
