Some properties are a little more special than others. This one was just that. Tennesssee Investors Company bought a farm here in Knoxville from Preacher Herman Faddis. Preacher was a WWII Veteran in the 3rd Army, 1st Scout in the 76th Infantry Division under General George Patton.

The farm is where Preacher raised his family as well as to***co, cows, horses and early had hogs. He even had several stories to tell about the family who lived on the farm before his family where they raised 17 children and lived off the farm.

There was even a moonshine business that ran off the farm years ago.

We are excited to have the farm and give a nod to Preacher in ways that we can to honor his story.

As 2022 moves closer to its end we are so thankful for the opportunities we have had in 2021 to serve people through providing solid and affordable housing in East Tennessee. Our goal is to by 2025 serve over 500 families through our East Tennessee. Stay tuned for more to come! ❤️ 🏡
