NAR Research's 2025 forecast names the Knoxville market among the top 10 housing hot spots nationwide on today’s annual forecast summit webinar, confirming the trends we continue to see in our local data. NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun shared that these regions are expected to bounce back with more buyers on market, favorable financial conditions and more existing homes put up for sale. While this update offers welcome optimism, it also shows that our home prices are appreciating faster than the national average, further enforcing the need to increase attainable housing inventory in East Tennessee.
