A little snapshot of what the East Tennessee housing market looks like right now, especially with spring right around the corner. 👇

Homes are currently taking around 40–70 days to sell, which means things are still moving, just not quite as fast as the past few years when homes were flying off the market in days.

At the same time, inventory is up more than 30%, giving buyers more options to choose from than they’ve had in a while.

We’re also seeing many homes sell just below asking price, which tells us buyers are gaining a little more negotiating room.

Put it all together and the market is starting to shift toward a more balanced place between buyers and sellers, something we haven’t seen much of in recent years.

With spring approaching quickly in East Tennessee, it can be a great time to list your home or start house hunting. 💐🏠
