While it’s true that timing does impact selling your house, there’s something else that’s often times more important.

Preparation.

Is your house clean?
All necessary repairs done?
Is the landscaping maintained and fresh?
New paint or new flooring in high traffic areas?

Sometimes, even the smallest things can help set your house apart. While it is important to prepare your home, it’s also important to remember that perfection is nearly impossible. I always give recommendations to my clients based on their house, and remind them that not everything has to be perfect. Do what you can and make your house look presentable- but don’t get caught in the weeds with a laundry list of “to-dos!”

Another closed sale in Rocky Hill!
