Welcome to The Modern Mellen House in beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee! You may be wondering why we spell Mellen this way? Well, it’s not named after the delicious fruit, it’s actually named after my grandma who loved Tennessee. Her name was Mary Ellen. She never had a chance to live in Knoxville Tennessee so we decided to name this wonderful house M.Ellen, which grew into “The Modern Mellen”. We are excited that we get to share Mary Ellen’s love of Tennessee and all it has to offer.
