A new trail and art walk are coming to South Knoxville, connecting Chapman Highway to Ijams Nature Center and bringing murals, sculptures, and new energy to SoKno. 🎨🚶‍♀️

It’s exciting to see how much this side of the river is growing. From trails to local spots, it’s starting to feel like its own destination.

Knoxville isn’t for everyone, and honestly, part of what makes it special. 👇
1. The humidity hits hard. Summers can feel heavy, and even fall has its muggy days.

2. Game days take over everything. Streets close, restaurants fill, and traffic crawls. But there’s nothing like the energy when Neyland lights up.

3. It’s a small city at heart. You’ll trade anonymity for community. People wave, remember your name, and word travels fast. For better or worse.

4. The weather’s unpredictable. Four seasons… sometimes in one week. But that’s also what gives East Tennessee its charm. No two days ever feel the same.

It’s not perfect, but that mix of unpredictability, warmth, and character is exactly why so many people stay. 🌄
