Marion County leading the initiative on Radon solutions! Good article explaining the issues radon causes and the problems we are seeing in rural Iowa areas with mitigating it to solve the issues. Radon is an issue for all Iowans living in homes/buildings (ie: apartments, townhomes, etc). Short version: there's federal grants for training to get more radon installers in place & grants for homeowners to test/mitigate their own homes.
