NBS Property Management is a phenomenal company. This will be long, but it tells the wonderful story on what NBS Property Management can offer.
I spent 4-5 years dealing with difficult situations from a previous management company and had very horrible experiences. No responses, landlord attempting to withdraw money unauthorized, not refunding unauthorized transactions, not fixing the HVAC unit/not replacing the Freon, and causing me to deal without air conditioning in the summer for an entire year. (Which caused me to almost go into heat stroke. I literally had to lay on the bathroom floor just to cool down and try to calm my breathing. I almost had to resort calling emergency services because of heat stroke from not getting a resolution to my request for Freon to be replaced in the AC unit.)
I’ve also dealt with landlord and maintenance neglecting resolving leaks in the ceiling that has caused water damage in the ceilings of the apartments. No response, empathy, or resolution . Nothing. I’ve also had a new maintenance person leave my *front* door wide open when they left. In the past, maintenance was good at shutting the door and locking it, but this person did not. My cat somehow got outside unnoticed after they left the door open, and was missing for an hour. That situation was resolved, but it still happened. It’s the fact that it happened in the first place. I got lucky and found my cat, but I couldn’t imagine if I had children and they left my front door wide open.
NBS Property Management came in and immediately began changing the entire community. A welcome set up area upon first arrival, coffee and food, community app, receipts and open communication on everything. The Freon was replaced June 2024, but 2 months later it stopped blowing cold air again due to the leak never being fixed. Then it took almost a year just to get a response or resolution. It took NBS taking control to fix it. (Screenshots listed below)
Every single problem I have had in the past, NBS has provided a solution. We now even have a community calendar, rent reporting to build your credit, emergency maintenance line, and a resident portal where I have control over making my own payments on my own time.
Every encounter has been met with great empathy, great communication, and great resolution. It’s a relief and a weight off my shoulders knowing I have a good property manager by my side. Screenshots are attached for reference.
