This one didn’t go “by the book” — and that’s exactly where the real work happens.

This buyer knew what they wanted: the right location, a fresh chapter, and a place that felt like home. What they didn’t expect? Multiple offers were already on the table, and just as we were working through terms, a new curveball came up that could have derailed the whole thing.

We slowed things down, adjusted timelines, and reworked the strategy while keeping their goals intact.

Now we’re under contract —
✔️ with a clear path forward
✔️ with flexibility built in to protect both sides
✔️ and required a whole lot of clear communication

This is the part of my job I care most about:
navigating the uncertainty so my clients don’t have to.

Days like this are some of my favorites on the lake… not when it’s bustling with a bunch of boats and people, not when it’s so hot you’d better be in the water or your face will melt off- nope.

It’s day like this.
Not a boat in sight.
A chill in the air and all bundled up.
A peaceful quiet that’s only in the off season.

Enjoying this peace now because I know lake season is right around the corner!

Too many times at showings I get so fixated on the house and making sure we see every single thing inside, not wanting to miss anything that could make a difference for my clients...

Today I was reminded to see the small things - the ones that are right there in front of me that I often overlook. Like my client's daughter who made a hot lap through the house, claimed her room, and then spent the rest of the showing outside. She was swinging from the tree swing, trying to climb trees, and then my favorite - making a giant pile of leaves and jumping right into the middle.

I know I needed that dose of "just relax" today - and go jump in a pile of leaves instead:) 🍁🍁🍁
