It was a fun morning for Bill Pittman this morning as he presented our second annual scholarship to Erynn Brewton, daughter of Knoxville Fire Department - TN's Donnie Brewton in the amount of $5000. It was the first time Bill had been in the Halls High gymnasium since his own senior day held there 45 years ago.

We endowed this scholarship 3 years ago to honor our founder, Bill Pittman, Sr. who humbly began Pittman Properties in 1977 & is also pictured below at the time his son began college. Bill was known by many and was a friend to all and we are grateful to have the opportunity to honor his legacy.

Additional thanks to Mayor Indya Kincannon for connecting us to Knox Education Foundation who helped make this scholarship possible.

Bases were loaded with 3 generations representing Pittman Properties today at the Grand Slam for NAMI! A perfect day for baseball with the Knoxville Smokies at Covenant Health Park, benefitting Nami Knoxville. We were proud to be a sponsor and support their mission of improving the quality of life for people with mental illness and their families through support, education and advocacy. NAMI also provides support and training to our local law enforcement officers to better equip them to assist people in crisis.
