Private Rescue Dog Adoption Private Rescue Dog Adoption was created to help re-home dogs that have been rescued either from high With all that we are caring for they deserve more time.

My husband and I have a heart for animals and we seem to cross paths with animals in desperate situations. This page is an attempt to reach more people in order to find loving homes where these dogs can have more attention and their own families to love them. We know the history and personality of all of our dogs that are available for adoption. We require that an adoption application be completed and approved and a home inspection be allowed. All of these measures are an attempt to do all that we can to make sure that the new home these dogs will have are homes that are even better than their existing home with us. We want better for all of these dogs and do not want them to ever end up in another shelter or dumped out. We are always willing to take any dog that we adopt back if the new family decides it's not a good match. We also ask for a $50 adoption fee to help our expenses since most dogs are spayed or neutered and are current on shots when adopted. We appreciate any donations of dog food or vet funding. We also appreciate the sharing of any of our posts and our page as more people that view these dogs photos the more likely we are to locate the perfect home for them.

Rest in Peace Lilly. The home we had hoped we could find you never happened but you lived out your life here with us for eleven years.
You were an old girl around 18 years old.
Although it was a tough call to make we know we gave you freedom from suffering and that last sweet sigh as you drew your last breath brings us peace until we see you again.

It was January of 2016 when we went to Jones County Animal Shelter because we were notified of a yellow lab whose time was up and was going to be euthanized. (He was 15 but he still deserved to live out his lie and he did - two more years with us.)We also came home with this little red pit who was also going to lose his life that day. He had a rough start to life. He lived chained with his only shelter being under the mobile home he was tied to. He was the victim of other dogs that weren’t tied constantly fighting with him. He ended up at the shelter.
Like we did before him and many times after we brought him home we didn’t allow him to die in that shelter. He was very loving and he got along with a couple of our other dogs, but especially Rose. She too didn’t have the best background but he helped her to trust again.
Ardie was never adopted as we discovered that he was very protective of Rose and anybody that reached into or attempted to enter the enclosure they stayed in. He would try to bite. We could not take the risk by adopting him out so he has lived his life with us for the past 10 years. Monday morning he began having seizures that he never recovered from. We made the decision to take him to the ER vet to help him pass and not suffer. He was loved and he will be missed.
