A few things you'll never catch me doing as an East Tennessee realtor. 🛑

Real estate can feel like a sales game from the outside, and I get why!
Some people are simply focused on hitting the number, closing the deal, and moving on to the next one. That's just never been the way I want to work.

For me, this job is so much more than handing over a set of keys.

It's helping someone find a place that actually fits the way they want to live, and being someone they can count on long after the closing paperwork is done.

The agents worth working with are the ones who treat your money, your time, and your future like it matters.

An unpopular opinion from an East Tennessee real estate agent. 🤫
I'd rather lose a deal than rush someone into a home that doesn't actually make sense for them.

Most people assume agents are always going to push buying because that's how we get paid. I get it, but that mindset is exactly why so many people end up making one of the biggest decisions of their life under pressure they didn't need to be under.

My job isn't to convince you to do anything. It's to give you the full picture, walk you through the math, and help you figure out what makes sense based on the life you're actually living right now, whether that’s Knoxville, Maryville, Johnson City, or somewhere in between.

Sometimes that means writing an offer. Sometimes it means telling you to wait.

Some closings are special because of the house. Others are special because of the journey.

This one is definitely about the journey.

For the past 5 years, I've had the privilege of helping him through multiple chapters of life, buying a home, selling a home, and searching for the perfect property. We've looked at a lot of possibilities over the years, but none of them were quite right.

Today, that search finally came to an end.

Congratulations to my amazing client and his wonderful wife, Diane, on closing on their dream home! Seeing everything come together after years of patience and persistence makes this closing incredibly rewarding.

Thank you both for allowing me to be part of the process. I couldn't be happier for you as you begin this exciting new chapter.
